On Saturday, May 9, Garry Robson, Elder-in-Residence, Aboriginal Student Centre, University of Manitoba performed a Blessing ceremony to Honour this Labyrinth Space, and Carol’s life. It was attended by members of the Shields family and the design committee. Tobacco was placed in the four directions on the outside edge of the labyrinth.
