note: Carol's books would be read
in many more countries than the ones listed. For each book, Carol
signed separate contracts with publishers in the United Kingdom,
the USA and Canada for English language editions. The three publishers,
in effect, divided up the English speaking world among themselves.
This meant that Carol's books were either printed in or sent to
many English speaking countries for sale, such as New Zealand, Australia,
India, Ireland, Ghana, and so on. And sent to many countries where
there were a good number of English language readers such as Holland
and Pakistan. |
